Here are several useful tools that can be downloaded to help you assess your prostate cancer. This information is an educational tool and should be discussed with a qualified physician.

Prostate Cancer Tools

  • a Windows 95 program available by download. Prostate Cancer Tools uses the old Partin data.

Prostate Cancer Tools II

  • An Introduction to PC Tools II (PCT II) - The Concept of Applied Science for Prostate Cancer.

Prostate Assistant

     The Prostate Assistant is a Windows 95 program which has the following
     options:

  • a simple lookup in the Partin 1 table (latest data)
  • Partin 2 lookup (includes average velocity calculation)
  • PSA doubling time and average velocity calculations.
  • Optimized microvessel density lookup

Tumor Volume Calculator

  • This is an Excel spreadsheet that combines the work of Aihara et al with that of D'Amico and Stamey et al to derive a calculated tumor volume of PC that would be expected at RP. This program uses data from untreated patients only.

Partin I Tables

  • The Partin I calculations are based upon the PSA, Gleason score, and Clinical staging.

Partin II Tables

  • This program performs what is called the Partin II calculation.
