  Memorial and "Gift in Honor" Contributions

A "Gift of Remembrance" to the Prostate Cancer Research Institute is a special way to give tribute. These gifts are a gratifying way for individuals, organizations, businesses and groups to memorialize someone while supporting the Prostate Cancer Research Institute's mission.

A memorial card is sent. Please include name and address of the appropriate person(s). The amount of the gift is not indicated. Every gift is tax deductible and the donor receives an acknowledgment.

A memorial contribution is a particularly meaningful way to remember friends and loved ones while helping the Institute to expand its important programs.

A "gift in honor" is a special way to recognize a friend or loved one's birthday, anniversary or other important event while also benefiting the PCRI mission.

With each memorial or "gift in honor" contribution received, a card is sent. Please include the name and address of the person you would like to be notified of your contribution. The donor will also receive an acknowledgment card. It is PCRI's policy to acknowledge all memorial and "gift in honor" contributions promptly after receipt. The amount given is never indicated on the cards.

  Donate an Automobile

Unwanted vehicle? Don’t Trade In! Donate to us.

Now you can donate your vehicle to our program. Click on the “VEHICLE DONATION” icon or call 866-332-1778. You are entitled to an itemized tax deduction of the fair market value of your vehicle. You can donate ANYTHING! Cars, truck, airplanes, boats – any vehicle can be donated. There are different appraisal rules for different vehicles so make sure you check with your tax advisor.

  Combined Federal Campaign

Federal employees and retirees participating in the Combined Federal Campaign can designate their contribution to the Prostate Cancer Research Institute. We are affiliated with the Health and Medical Research Charities, CFC.

If you are an employee of the state of California, you can donate to the Prostate Cancer Research Institute as a "nonaffiliated beneficiary agency."

  United Way of the Bay Area Campaign

PCRI is listed in the United Way of the Bay Area Campaign brochure. The Bay Area Campaign incorporates the counties of Marin, Contra Costa, Alameda, San Francisco and San Mateo. Please direct your contribution to the Prostate Cancer Research Institute.

  Giving Through the United Way In Other Areas

If you contribute to a local United Way campaign through payroll deduction, your local United Way Chapter may allow you to direct a portion of your contribution to an organization such as the Prostate Cancer Research Institute.
